Yahoo Sports – LAS VEGAS – The UFC took it to the last minute Thursday before announcing that Anderson Silva would step in to replace Jon Jones against Daniel Cormier on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena at UFC 200.

I am glad the UFC stepped up and found DC a fight. Anderson Silva is a legend and it will be interesting to see him jump up in weight to fight one of the best guys at light heavyweight. Anderson said he hasn’t been training much so if Cormier can find a way to get this to the ground (Olympic wrestler, duh) he should be able to pull off the victory. People also forget Daniel has heavy hands so if he can touch Silva’s chin this could be a short night for the spider. DC has never fought a guy so accurate so I can see Silva pulling off the W himself. Anderson will be faster and will not throw first so Cormier better fight a smart fight. He needs to grind, but I don’t think it will be easy to get Silva to the cage. This should be a great fight!!! My money is on both guys making a lot of money.
