Brooke Hogan On Hulk Possibly Running For Senate, If His Past Racial Slurs Would Hurt a Possible Political Career (Video)
As we noted yesterday, former Donald Trump adviser Roger Stone is reportedly urging WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan to run for State Senate, an idea that Hogan does not seem too interested in at the moment.
TMZ recently caught up with Hogan’s daughter Brooke Hogan, and when asked what her reaction would be to Hogan making political moves, Brooke says she thinks her dad would bring unity to the country instead of division which she feels is present in the current climate. Brooke adds everything Hulk has been through in the last couple years has made him figure out who he is, and who that is is someone who really loves a lot of people.
When asked, however, if she thinks Hogan will ultimately run, Brooke says “I don’t think so.” Brooke echoed the same sentiments that Hulk had when he spoke with TMZ, which were that if he made any moves right now it would be a return to the ring instead of a move towards the political “ring.”
Finally, Brooke Hogan was asked if past racial slurs made by Hulk would hurt a potential political career, Brooke said she thinks the comments her father made were very out of character for him, and that he was probably having a very bad day when that happened. So concluded by saying people aren’t stupid, and that she doesn’t think that the African American community would greet him with hostility.
