We have breaking news coming out of the final Smackdown Live before Sunday’s Survivor series: Charlotte Flair has defeated Natalya to become the new WWE Smackdown Live Women’s Champion. This makes this her 5th Women’s Title since being on the main roster, and the first time she’s held the championship for the blue brand, making her the 2nd woman ever to have held both championships.

Ironically, the only other woman who has achieved that feat is the woman that now be Charlotte’s opponent on Sunday’s Survivor Series Pay Per View, WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. The two women have always been on opposite brands, and this will be the first time facing off since coming to the main roster.

After Charlotte’s win, we saw Charlotte’s father, 16 time world champion and two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair make a surprise appearance after Charlotte’s surprise victory to celebrate with his daughter. We saw the two embrace and celebrate at the top of the ramp in a heartwarming scene.

Flair, recently going through a health scare, has not been seen in quite some time on WWE TV, but recently had a ESPN 30 for 30 special featuring his life’s story.

Below are some photos from tonight’s Smackdown title match, which saw Charlotte’s father Ric Flair return to WWE TV and celebrate with his daughter:
