Rumor Killer On New WWE United States Title Belt

WWE is holding a Smackdown Live event at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina, on January 18th, 2018.

The official Facebook page of the Civic Center has posted the following photo hyping the event, and as you can see, Baron Corbin is sporting a new WWE United States Championship belt, which has lead to speculation that WWE might be debuting a new title belt.

According to PWInsider.com, however, the belt design has been traced to a bootleg version of the U.S. title created in Pakistan, and it popped up online sometime last year, making it highly unlikely WWE is debuting a new title.

Big Update on CM Punk’s UFC Future

It appears as if CM Punk’s UFC career is not yet over, as Dana White held a media lunch in Las Vegas on Tuesday, and according to online reports, White revealed he will be meeting with Punk at the UFC 218 event this Saturday in Detroit to discuss the former WWE Champion’s future in the promotion:
