Published On January 4, 2018 | MMA News

UFC president Dana White has just confirmed that Amanda Nunes will face Cris Cyborg next, in a champion vs. champion super fight.

The UFC boss hinted that Nunes wanted the winner or Holm vs. Cybog last week, and now it looks like those plans are still intact.

Taking to Yahoo sports, Dana White stated,

“First of all Amanda Nunes wants to fight her.” As transcribed by “Amanda Nunes wants to fight Cyborg. That is the fight to make, and that is the fight I will make. That’s the fight.”

“Amanda Nunes is a big, strong powerful puncher. I Think she matches up very will with Cyborg too, and that’s a fun fight. That’s the fight to make.

“Cyborg wants to fight. We’ll get her a fight as soon as we can get it done. As soon as Amanda can prepare and get ready for this fight we’re ready to role!”

Cris Cyborg was hoping to be included on the upcoming Australia card in six-weeks. That card seems fully topped off, so we can expect a date and announcement in the coming days.

Stay tuned.
