Dana White Will Speak Tuesday At The Republican National Convention

MMA Junkie – Dana White always has thanked Donald Trump for helping the UFC in tough times. Now, the UFC president will pay it forward.

On Tuesday night, White will stump for Trump at the Republican National Convention, adding a colorful voice to a lineup filled with atypical choices at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.

White, described on the convention’s program as the “business visionary behind the success” of the UFC, joins actors Scott Baio and Antonio Sabato Jr., “Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson, pro golfer Natalie Golbis, and a whole bunch of Trumps – Melania, Donald Jr., Eric, Tiffany, Ivanka, and of course, Donald.

“A self-described political independent, White has expressed his gratitude to presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump for helping the UFC succeed,” reads White’s bio on the RNC’s official program. “Trump hosted the once-controversial mixed martial arts competitions at his Trump Taj Mahal casino property when other venues shunned the sport.”

A featured speaker for Tuesday’s program, which is themed “Make America Work Again,” the UFC executive takes the stage after RNC co-chair Sharon Day will deliver a nominating speech for Trump’s vice-president pick, Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

The program kicks off at 5:30 p.m. ET and airs live on C-Span and streams on Google.

Asked how White plans to contribute to the program’s theme, a UFC official said, “We won’t be making those details available in advance.”

But presumably, he’ll talk tough about Trump’s economic plusses as one of many “winners” the nominee wants associated with his brand.

Tune in – it’s bound to get interesting.

I guess when you think of leaders that are outspoken and don’t fit inside the mold Dana White and Donald Trump have to come to mind. I do not care if Dana and Donald share political ideology because it doesn’t really matter. Trump helped White grow the sport of mixed martial arts and Dana just made a gazillion dollars with the recent sale of the UFC. Dana could be the opposite of Trump and the republican party on the issues but if somebody helps you in business, you feel obligated to return the favor. It is how successful people do business and they laugh all the way to the bank. It must be like baseball with all the unwritten rules…If you have more than 200 million dollars you hang out with republicans. It is similar to when average looking girls only hangout with ugly friends to boost their stock. Or maybe it is nothing like that at all.
