As see on WWE Raw this week, Triple H made his return to WWE TV and announced himself as the fifth member of Team Raw at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday night. After Jordan suffered a story line injury on Raw, Triple H hit Jordan with The Pedigree then made the big match change announcement.

It appears, however, as if Triple H replacing Jason Jordan at the PPV was not always in the cards, as Bryan Alvarez noted on today’s Wrestling Observer Live that WWE made a last minute decision on Monday afternoon to replace Jordan with Triple H.

Triple H will join Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Team Captain Kurt Angle to face Team Smackdown in a 5 on 5 traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match on Sunday night. You can check out footage of Triple H’s return and big announcement in the video below.
