I wasn’t expecting Jon Jones to roll over Dan Henderson (how about my choice of words? Roll is what they do in jiu-jitsu and wrestling and I used it as a verb superbly) but after some theatrics “Bones” took Henderson down, passed his guard and forced “Hendo” to tap at the 6:39 mark due to an arm-triangle. I guess size and age probably had something to do with the poor showing of Henderson but I figured his Olympic caliper wrestling would at least force a draw. I was wrong and the world will move on. On a side note it appears Chael Sonnen and Jon Jones will meet in January after “Bones” called out the “American Gangster” after the match.

Also on the card was newly retired MMA hottie Miesha Tate taking on Jessica Eye (she’s okay too). Tate won in overtime via a quicker escape time (Say what?). The bout had some controversy because “Cupcake” locked up an armbar and rolled Eye into a spider web (didn’t they dust the mats before the competition?) position during regulation. The official stepped in to halt the bout, but Eye didn’t appear to tap so they restarted in a neutral position (probably missionary).

There were other matches on the card but you will have to go elsewhere if you want to know who won.
