MMAJunkie – NEW YORK CITY – Interim UFC light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones has one immediate goal: to recapture the undisputed belt from champ Daniel Cormier at their recently announced UFC 200 headliner.

But provided all goes well in that fight, Jones has a plan for his next one.

“I would love to beat up on ‘DC,’ and then face Anthony Johnson at Madison Square Garden,” said Jones today during a press conference in support of UFC 200 on July 9 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

I have been clamoring to see Jon Jones fight Anthony Johnson for a while now. I just want to see the look on Bones face when Rumble hits him in the face for the first time. Jon has a chin, but Johnson has sledgehammers for fists. I don’t give Rumble a chance if the fight goes over 30 seconds, because he has a history of giving up when his body gets tired…but I will enjoy the beginning of the contest very much. I can see a scenario where Jon Jones loses. People get caught in the fight game. It happened to GSP, it happened to Jose Aldo and it could happen to him. Rumble is a mean man that ends people’s nights very quickly. Did anybody get the license plate number of the truck that just hit me?
