Meryl Streep (who the fook is that lady?) dissed MMA during her speech for winning the Cecil B. DeMille (who the fook is that guy?) Lifetime Achievement Award.

During her acceptance address, she took aim at President-elect Donald Trump (damn Hollywood liberals). It makes sense since most of the acting community leans a little left and are often vocal in their support for the Democratic Party.  Oh, did I mention she dissed football and MMA in the middle of the speech because…actually, nobody knows why she attacked those sports.

Here’s the speech (via Twitter):

“Who are we, and what is Hollywood anyway? It’s just a bunch of people from other places. So, Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners. And if we kick them all out, we’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.”

A ton of fighters took to social media to vocalize their dissatisfaction with her comments. Bellator President Scott Coker penned an open letter to the actress (she’s an actress, right?) and even invited her to an upcoming event.

TMZ caught up with the UFC’s Dana White and you can hear his thoughts in the video below.

I always get a little embarrassed listening to people speak on things they have no knowledge of and this was a wonderful example of that. MMA is far more international and diverse than most sports and if you can’t appreciate the art and beauty that goes into each discipline you should probably act for a living. I hope everybody remembers her words and how diverse her community is when #OscarsSoWhite is trending later this year.
