Boxing legend Mike Tyson once saved rappers Fat Joe and Big Pun from getting beat down by a group of bouncers.

While appearing on ESPN, Fat Joe told the story of when Tyson showed up out of nowhere and saved him and his friend.

“I have tons of Mike Tyson stories but this one is crazy because there was one night, we were at The Tunnel, me and Big Pun, rest in peace, and the security is telling him to take off his boots. They want to search under his boots. Because he was a big guy, he didn’t want to,” Fat Joe said.

“So they start arguing. (Expletive) you, you mother this and that. It turns into three, four, five, six guys saying let’s just beat up Fat Joe and Big Pun. So I’m telling Pun, ‘we’re about to get knocked out.’

“So out of nowhere, we hear this voice go ‘Yo Pun, Yo Joe, F these dudes up. I got your back.’ We turn around, it’s “Iron” Mike Tyson.”

Fat Joe then said Tyson went on to chase the bouncers around until they asked both rappers to please ask Tyson to stop.
