More News On WWE’s Plans For Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair
More details have been reported about WWE’s plans to create an epic Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair match and how Asuka has fit into the situation.
According to a report on Rajah.com, WWE decided to change its mind on putting Rousey against Asuka in order to build towards a major match between the former UFC star and Charlotte Flair, which is one of the reasons why Charlotte ended Asuka’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania 34.
This is also why WWE has had Asuka stop using the Arm Bar finisher, despite originally being told to move to the move from the Chicken Wing. This is because of Rousey’s focus on the submission finisher linking back to her UFC career with the long-term plan to have the match with Charlotte, potentially at WrestleMania 35.
