Sherdog – Former bantamweight queen Miesha Tate could be out for up to 185 days following her loss to Amanda Nunes in the UFC 200 headliner.

The Nevada Athletic Commission recently released a list of medical suspensions from the event, which took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this past Saturday. Tate was submitted by a rear-naked choke 3:16 into the opening round of her featured clash with Nunes.

Prior to the submission, “Cupcake” ate several hard punches to the face, and she revealed during the post-fight press conference that she likely suffered a broken nose during the fight. That injury has since been confirmed, and Tate must be cleared by a doctor or she cannot compete for 185 days. At a minimum, she will be out for 60 days with no contact for 45 days.

Four other fighters from UFC 200 are facing 185-days layoffs: Travis Browne (wrist), Raphael Assuncao (nose), Sage Northcutt (elbow) and Diego Sanchez (orbital and nasal fractures).

UFC 200 Medical Suspensions:

Miesha Tate: Must have broken nose cleared by doctor or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 60 days with no contact for 45 days

Mark Hunt: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days

Anderson Silva: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days

Frankie Edgar: Suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to facial laceration

Travis Browne: Must have right wrist cleared by doctor or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days

Raphael Assuncao: Must have nose x-rayed and cleared by a doctor or no contest for 185 days

Enrique Marin: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days

Sage Northcutt: Must have left elbow x-rayed or no contest for 185 days; minimum suspension 45 days with no contact for 30 days

Thiago Santos: Suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days

Well, we now know why Miesha Tate lost the title. It wasn’t due to the rear-naked choke, she tapped out to a broken nose.
