Update On Paul Heyman’s Greatest Royal Rumble Status, WWE On Zack Ryder’s Injury, WWE Wins Webby Awards
Yesterday, PWInsider.com reported Paul Heyman is not scheduled to be at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia on Friday as he did not fly to Jeddah along with the rest of the WWE crew.
PWInsider has since updated the story and notes Heyman will indeed be appearing at the event as he and Brock Lesnar are scheduled to fly out later this week for Lesnar’s Universal Title defense against Roman Reigns.
More On Zack Ryder’s Injury
As we noted yesterday, Zack Ryder announced via his Instagram that he had suffered a knee injury and did not fly out to Saudi Arabia after Raw in St. Louis. WWE.com has since confirmed Ryder’s knee injury, and noted the new Raw star flew to Orlando for an MRI. As of now, it appears as if Ryder will miss the Greatest Royal Rumble even, but that remains unconfirmed.

WWE.com has announced the following:
WWE was honored with the 2018 Webby Award and People’s Voice Webby Award in the Events category for its comprehensive WrestleMania 33 coverage. The People’s Voice Award is chosen by the voting public in each Webby Awards category.In the Social Events category, last year’s Showcase of the Immortals beat out MTV’s 2017 EMA coverage, the World Series presented by YouTube TV, the iHeartRadio Music Awards and Pokémon GO Travel’s Global Catch Challenge.
WWE was also an Honoree in three other categories: WrestleMania 33 Kickoff in Film & Video: Events and Live streams; WWE Now in Film & Video: Sports; and WWE Social Media in Social: Entertainment.
