Smart of WWE to capitalize on the UFC 200 fight week hype and announce Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam opponent on Smackdown. Of course, we’ll learn tonight when spoilers hit the internet. WWE has given no indication on who it is so we’ll speculate here who it could be.

Bray Wyatt – The Eater of Worlds has had his differences with Lesnar and the issue is still unresolved from months back. In spite of the feud with The New Day, I think Wyatt is the likeliest opponent for Brock.

Roman Reigns – I’m guessing after Battleground Reigns will be out of the WWE Championship picture. This would be a huge WrestleMania rematch and could be a good catalyst for a Reigns heel turn.

The WWE Champion – WWE could go this route and announce that Lesnar will face whomever wins the Triple Threat match at SummerSlam. Maybe the recent public discourse is all intentional to set up some sort of story with Brock being Champion.

Big Show – This one is kind of dreadful, but Big Show is always a candidate for spots like this. He’s a huge physical threat and him and Lesnar have quite the history.

Kurt Angle – I know both parties have come out recently and said he’s not coming to WWE, but that could be a smokescreen. This is 100% pure fantasy booking here and I’m not even sure that Angle could physically handle a match against The Beast Incarnate. This would be a pretty sweet return for Angle if he were to come back.

Of course, it could be none of those guys, but that’s my two cents!
