Will Roman Reigns Be Investigated By The DEA Following Recent Steroid Allegations?
As we noted earlier this week, imprisoned steroids dealer, Richard Rodriguez, recently conducted an interview with filmmaker Johnny Bravo, and during the interview, Rodriguez alleged WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns, along with celebrities Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel were clients of his and used alias’ to purchase illegal drugs.
Reigns later issued a statement denying any affiliation with Rodriguez and the statement is as follows:
“I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it.”
TMZ is now reporting that Reigns and the other two celebrities will not be the subject of a DEA probe following the allegations made by Rodriguez.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the celebs won’t be investigated by the DEA because the agency doesn’t target alleged buyers of illegal drugs. The report adds the DEA instead focuses its efforts on going after kingpins like Rodriguez, along with other traffickers, manufacturers, and distributors.
You can listen to Rodriguez’s comments regarding Roman Reigns and the two actors in the video player above, and the remarks come in at about the 4:10 mark.
