This Week’s WWE Smackdown Becomes the Most-Watched Episode of 2018
As noted, this week’s WWE Raw viewership saw a huge viewership increase following WrestleMania 34, as the show averaged 3.921 million viewers according to ShowBuzz Daily. This week’s WWE Raw viewership was way up from last week’s 3.357 million viewership average for the final Raw before WrestleMania, and was the second most watched show of the year, behind Raw 25.
This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown, which offered final WrestleMania 34 fallout, new talent debuts in Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, and the crowning of a new Smackdown Women’s Champion in Carmella, followed in Raw’s tracks bringing in an impressive number.
According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership averaged 2.952 million, which is up from last week’s 2.467 million viewership average, and is the most-watch episode so far in 2018.
This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown ranked #3 for the night in overall cable TV viewership.
